Biography

Ethan Morrow is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in communication at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds a B.A. in communication and Spanish and a master’s in communication from the University of Missouri. His research focuses on the risks associated with new and emerging media technologies, including topics of privacy, surveillance, cybersecurity, and policing. He employs a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches to investigate the effects of mediated messages on individuals' risk perceptions and behaviors.
